Following a childhood dream inspired by my parents’ teetering stacks of Vanity Fair and Vogue, and my own life-long love of words, I started my magazine career with internships at Quill & Quire, Seattle, and Northwest Meetings & Events.

After graduating with distinction from the University of Victoria with a B.A. in Creative Writing and English in 2006, I moved from Vancouver to Toronto to make my way as a writer and editor.

I began writing regularly for ELLE Canada in 2007. (I've also contributed to LOULOU, glow, Wish, Toronto Life, and ELLECanada.com.)

I’m now the Fashion Editor of blogTO (a popular city-blog with almost 1.5 million hits a month), where I write about LG Fashion Week, and other local fashion events and news.
